Website and workshop terms
Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how this website may be used and how enquiries, inspection, diagnosis, repair approval, parts, payment and vehicle handover are handled by our independent workshop.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Key points for customers
- A website message or telephone discussion is not a final diagnosis.
- We identify the vehicle and inspect it before confirming appropriate work.
- We seek approval for the proposed scope, expected cost, repair period and applicable warranty before starting chargeable repair work.
- If material additional work becomes necessary, we explain it and seek revised approval.
- Your invoice should identify the work and parts supplied, including whether a part is new, used or reconditioned where relevant.
- Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law.
1. Scope and workshop operator
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of rangeroverspecialist.ae and to enquiries and workshop services provided through this website, by telephone, WhatsApp, email or in person. The website is operated by AMF Auto Services LLC under the trading identity Range Rover Repair Dubai. The workshop is an independent Range Rover and Land Rover specialist in Al Quoz 4, Dubai, UAE.
Using the website means accepting the website-use provisions below. A workshop service arrangement is formed only when the relevant vehicle, requested work, commercial terms and customer approval are sufficiently identified. A general website visit does not by itself create a repair contract.
If an approved estimate, job card, invoice or written warranty contains a specific term for a particular job, that specific written term will normally apply to that job. It remains subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable UAE law.
2. Website information and responsible use
Automotive information
The website provides general information about vehicle systems, symptoms, maintenance and workshop services. It cannot account for the exact model year, engine, software level, previous repairs, modifications, use history or physical condition of every vehicle. Fault-code descriptions, warning-light explanations and repair-cost planning information are starting points, not a remote diagnosis or a promise that a named component must be replaced.
Content is reviewed and updated from time to time, but vehicle specifications, parts availability, manufacturer information and workshop services can change. Contact us for information relevant to your vehicle before relying on a page to make a repair decision.
No remote diagnosis guarantee
Telephone, WhatsApp, form or email information may help us understand symptoms and prepare for an inspection. It does not replace access to the vehicle and appropriate testing. Similar symptoms can arise from different mechanical, electrical, software or configuration issues.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the site’s original text, layout, graphics and other original material belong to the website operator or are used with permission. You may view and print a reasonable copy for personal use. You may not reproduce substantial parts of the site, remove notices, scrape it at scale, impersonate the workshop, use the content to mislead customers or interfere with site security.
Manufacturer and model names are used for vehicle identification and service description. See our Independent Specialist Disclaimer for the full trademark and affiliation disclosure.
Third-party links and availability
Links to maps, government services or other third-party resources are provided for convenience. Those services control their own content and availability. We may maintain, update or temporarily suspend parts of the website without notice when reasonably necessary. We do not promise uninterrupted access.
3. Workshop enquiries, estimates and vehicle identification
Please provide accurate information about the vehicle and the concern, including the model, model year, symptoms and warning messages. A VIN, registration information, images, video, diagnostic screenshots or recent repair history may be requested when useful. Correct identification matters because parts and procedures can vary within the same model name and year.
Quotes and estimates
An early price discussed before inspection is normally an indication based on the information available. It is not a fixed final price unless it is clearly confirmed as such in writing for an identified scope. A quotation or estimate may change if the vehicle description was incomplete, the configuration differs, dismantling reveals hidden damage, diagnostic evidence identifies another cause, or the approved scope changes.
Where further investigation itself requires chargeable labour or dismantling, the workshop should explain the proposed diagnostic step and seek approval before proceeding. No statement on this page creates an automatic free inspection, free diagnosis or free recovery entitlement.
4. Inspection, diagnosis and repair approval
Before repair work, the vehicle’s relevant condition and the customer’s reported concern should be recorded. The workshop should explain the proposed work, expected cost or pricing basis, expected repair period and the warranty applicable to the work, then obtain customer approval. Approval may be recorded on a job card, estimate, message, email, recorded workshop system or another reasonable written form.
An authorised customer representative must have permission to approve work and make decisions for the vehicle owner. We may ask for confirmation of identity or authority where ownership, insurance, fleet or company arrangements are unclear.
Additional faults and revised approval
Inspection or dismantling can reveal related or unrelated faults that were not visible at intake. We will explain material additional work and seek revised approval before carrying it out. If the customer declines, we may stop at the approved stage and explain the effect this may have on safe operation, completion, reassembly or the usefulness of the original repair.
Reasonable safety steps required to protect the vehicle, people or workshop may be taken where delay would create an immediate risk. We will document and explain such steps as soon as practicable.
Customer decisions
A customer may decline recommended work. We may record the declined item on the job documentation. The workshop may also decline or stop work that it cannot perform safely, lawfully or to a reasonable technical standard.
5. Parts, materials and availability
Workshop-supplied parts
Depending on the job and customer approval, a proposed part may be genuine manufacturer branded, original-equipment or equivalent quality, aftermarket, used or reconditioned. The description and condition should be made clear where relevant. Availability, vehicle compatibility and VIN-specific supersessions can affect the choice, price and delivery time.
We do not claim that every part used is manufacturer branded. A website reference to an available part category is not a promise that it is suitable or in stock for a particular vehicle.
Special-order parts
A part ordered specifically for an identified vehicle may have supplier return restrictions. Any deposit, cancellation consequence or non-returnable status must be disclosed for that order before commitment. This page does not impose a fixed deposit percentage or cancellation charge.
Customer-supplied parts
Please obtain workshop agreement before supplying a part. The workshop may decline a customer-supplied part if compatibility, condition, provenance, safety or installation requirements cannot be reasonably verified. If accepted, responsibility for the quality and inherent condition of that part remains with the supplier or customer to the extent permitted by law. Workshop responsibility for its own installation work is considered separately and is not excluded by this statement.
Replaced components
Where a replaced component is available and safe to retain, ask before collection if you want it returned. A component may need to be retained for supplier or warranty assessment, exchanged as a core, disposed of safely, or handled under an insurance or manufacturer process. The invoice or job record should identify replaced parts and their condition where required.
6. Vehicle condition, personal belongings and road testing
The workshop may record visible vehicle condition, mileage, fuel level, warning messages and relevant images at intake. Please disclose known faults, modifications, previous repairs, fluid leaks, wheel-locking keys, immobiliser issues and any special starting or operating instructions.
Remove cash, valuables and unnecessary personal property before leaving the vehicle. Tell us about property that cannot reasonably be removed. The workshop will take reasonable care but cannot verify the contents of a closed vehicle or every item left inside.
Diagnostic and verification work may require starting the engine, lifting the vehicle, operating systems, charging or disconnecting a battery, scanning control modules, carrying out adaptations, and conducting a reasonable road test. Such work will be limited to what is reasonably connected to the approved diagnosis or repair and handled with appropriate care.
Pre-existing wear, damage, corrosion, previous poor repair, modification or an unrelated failure can affect the work. If identified, it should be documented and explained rather than silently treated as part of the approved repair.
7. Repair timing, pickup and collection
Repair periods are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Timing can be affected by diagnosis, hidden damage, parts supply, programming access, third-party machining, insurer or owner decisions, shipping, public restrictions or other matters outside reasonable workshop control. We will communicate material changes when known.
Pickup or vehicle recovery is available only when separately confirmed. Availability, access, vehicle condition, location and the equipment required must be assessed. A request through the website does not itself guarantee a recovery time or create a free pickup entitlement.
When work is complete, the customer should arrange collection and payment as communicated. If a vehicle cannot be collected promptly, contact the workshop so a reasonable arrangement can be discussed. No fixed storage fee is created by these terms. Any storage arrangement or charge must be communicated and agreed or otherwise lawfully applicable before being relied upon.
8. Invoices and payment
The customer is responsible for the approved charges and any separately approved additional work. Payment method and timing will be stated by the workshop for the job. The workshop may require payment before releasing a completed vehicle where lawful and consistent with the agreed terms.
The invoice should describe the service, parts and prices with enough detail to understand the charge. It should identify the condition of supplied parts as new, used or reconditioned where relevant and include the applicable warranty information. Tell us promptly if an invoice appears to contain an error.
Refunds, credits or remedial work depend on the facts, applicable law and the particular service or part. These terms do not create a blanket refund promise and do not restrict any remedy required by UAE consumer law.
9. Warranty, concerns and complaints
The warranty for an individual repair should be documented with the job. Under the UAE Consumer Protection Executive Regulations, repaired services and replaced parts are warranted for at least 15 days from vehicle delivery unless the nature of the service or part requires a longer period. The statutory protection applies where the failure is not caused by the consumer’s use. A written job warranty may provide more protection and will be honoured according to its terms.
See the Service Warranty & Repair Policy for how workmanship, supplied parts, exclusions, inspection and remedial work are handled. If you believe a problem relates to recent work, contact us promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle before arranging another repair where safe and practical.
Concerns are handled under our Complaints & Resolution process. Please provide the invoice or job reference, vehicle details, what happened and supporting images or video where useful. A complaint does not affect a customer’s right to use an applicable official consumer-protection channel.
10. Responsibility, privacy and governing law
Each party remains responsible for loss or damage caused by its own breach, negligence, misconduct or unlawful act to the extent established under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. The workshop is not responsible for an unrelated failure merely because it occurs during or after a different repair, but the cause must be assessed fairly.
Information provided during an enquiry or job is handled under our Privacy Policy. Website storage and analytics choices are explained in the Cookie Policy.
These terms are governed by the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws and competent courts of Dubai, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection forum or right available to the customer.
The workshop may update these terms when services, technology or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current website version. Terms already agreed for a particular job are not retrospectively changed merely by updating this page.
Your consumer rights remain protected
These terms are intended to make workshop arrangements clearer. They do not waive or reduce mandatory rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law or its Executive Regulations.
