Data and privacy

Privacy Policy

How AMF Auto Services LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use this website or contact the Range Rover specialist workshop.

Effective and last updated 1 September 2026

Plain-language summary

We use the information you provide to answer enquiries, identify your vehicle, arrange inspections or repairs, prepare quotations, communicate about authorised work, keep business records, and protect the website. The site also uses necessary WordPress and security technology. Optional Ahrefs visitor analytics and embedded Google Maps are controlled through the site’s privacy choices.

Who controls the website data

AMF Auto Services LLC operates the workshop and this website at rangeroverspecialist.ae. The website uses the trading identity Range Rover Repair Dubai and describes an independent Range Rover and Land Rover specialist service in Al Quoz 4, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

For questions or requests about personal information, email admin@rangeroverspecialist.ae, call +971 56 464 6081, or use the options on the Contact page. These are the verified contact routes used for this policy. We do not publish an unverified postal unit, company registration number, or separate data-protection officer.

Personal information we may collect

The information collected depends on how you contact us and what help you request. We do not need every category for every enquiry.

Contact and enquiry details

  • Your name, telephone number, WhatsApp number, email address, and the subject or text of your message.
  • Your preferred contact channel and the date, time, and history of relevant communications.
  • Appointment, collection, recovery, or workshop-arrival information that you choose to provide.

Vehicle and service information

  • Vehicle make, model, generation, model year, engine, powertrain, mileage, registration information, and VIN when needed to identify the correct configuration.
  • Reported symptoms, warning messages, fault descriptions, service history, recent repairs, accident information, and other facts relevant to diagnosis or repair.
  • Photos, videos, audio recordings, diagnostic screenshots, invoices, or service records that you send voluntarily.
  • Inspection findings, diagnostic information, approved work, parts information, quotations, invoices, warranty records, and communications generated during a workshop interaction.

Website and technical information

  • IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring page, pages requested, approximate location derived from an IP address, and timestamps that may appear in hosting, security, or analytics logs.
  • Cookie or local-storage preferences, page interactions, and aggregated visitor measurements when optional analytics is allowed.
  • Security information used to detect spam, malicious requests, login abuse, or technical faults.

Send only what helps the enquiry

Do not send Emirates ID copies, payment-card details, passwords, or unrelated personal documents through a general website or WhatsApp enquiry. A VIN or registration detail may help identify a vehicle, but it should be provided only when relevant to the requested service.

How information reaches us

You may provide information directly through the Contact Form 7 form on this website, by telephone, through a WhatsApp link, by email, during an in-person workshop visit, or when arranging a vehicle inspection, repair, pickup, or recovery. We may also receive information from a person acting with your authority, such as a family member, fleet representative, insurer, recovery provider, or another workshop involved in the same job.

Technical information is generated when your browser requests pages from WordPress, the hosting environment, security systems, LiteSpeed caching, the consent manager, or third-party content that you choose to allow. Google Search Console may provide aggregated search-performance information to the site owner, but Search Console does not by itself place a visitor cookie on this website.

Why we process personal information

We process personal information for clear operational purposes rather than collecting it for its own sake.

Responding and preparing

To answer questions, identify the vehicle, understand the reported symptom, request missing details, prepare for an inspection, and explain a suitable next step.

Providing workshop services

To inspect, diagnose, quote, obtain approval, order agreed parts, carry out authorised work, verify the repair, issue records, and handle a return concern.

Business and legal records

To maintain job, invoice, approval, warranty, accounting, tax, complaint, and consumer-protection records that are reasonably required for the transaction or by UAE law.

Security and improvement

To keep the website available, prevent abuse, investigate technical incidents, respect cookie choices, understand optional aggregate visitor behaviour, and improve page usefulness.

Depending on the activity, the practical basis may be your request or consent, steps needed before entering a service arrangement, performance of an approved service, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of legitimate business and security interests, or the establishment and handling of legal claims. Where consent is the relevant basis, you may withdraw it for future processing. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing invalid and may not require deletion of records that must be retained for another lawful reason.

How information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, with suitable limits and safeguards.

  • Website and hosting providers that operate WordPress, hosting, caching, backups, email delivery, security, and technical support.
  • Communication providers such as telephone, email, and WhatsApp when you use those channels. WhatsApp and its related companies process information under their own terms once you open or send a message.
  • Workshop suppliers and service providers when vehicle details are needed to confirm compatible parts, specialist work, programming, transport, recovery, or another approved part of the job. We limit the information to what the task requires.
  • Professional advisers and insurers where reasonably needed for accounting, legal advice, claims, or dispute handling.
  • Public authorities or courts where disclosure is required by applicable law, a valid official request, or the protection of legal rights and safety.

The website currently exposes an optional Ahrefs analytics tag only after analytics consent and may load Google Maps only after external-media consent. The website did not show Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, YouTube embeds, or reCAPTCHA during the production audit on 1 September 2026. Technology can change, so the Cookie Policy records the current visitor-facing position.

International processing

Some technology, cloud, communications, analytics, mapping, parts, or support providers may process information outside the UAE. When a cross-border transfer is required, we take reasonable steps to use a provider and arrangement that offers appropriate protection, contractual safeguards, or another transfer basis permitted by applicable UAE law. The destination and protection can depend on the provider used for the particular communication or service.

How long information is kept

We do not apply one arbitrary period to every record. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, the service relationship, warranty and complaint handling, accounting and tax requirements, security investigation, legal claims, and other applicable obligations.

An unanswered or preliminary enquiry may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer useful. A completed workshop job normally needs a longer record because approval, invoice, parts, repair, warranty, and complaint information may remain relevant. Security logs and backup copies follow technical retention cycles and may not disappear immediately from every backup after a live record is removed. When retention is no longer justified, information is deleted, anonymised, or made inaccessible through the normal disposal process.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. These measures can include access controls, HTTPS transport encryption, WordPress updates, hosting controls, login protection, backups, security monitoring, and limits on who can use workshop or customer records.

No website, email, or messaging service can promise absolute security. If you believe information sent to us has been exposed or used incorrectly, contact us promptly so the concern can be investigated.

Cookies and similar technology

The site uses necessary technical storage and a local browser preference to remember your privacy choices. Optional analytics and external media are not intended to load until you allow their category through the consent panel. You can reopen Cookie settings from the button shown on the website. Browser controls can also delete or block cookies and site storage, although doing so may reset your choices or affect some functions.

Read the separate Cookie Policy for current categories, detected tools, and management instructions.

Your privacy rights

UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning the Protection of Personal Data gives data subjects rights that can include obtaining information about processing, requesting transfer where the legal conditions apply, correcting inaccurate or incomplete data, requesting erasure in qualifying circumstances, restricting or stopping certain processing, objecting to certain automated decisions, and withdrawing consent for future processing.

Rights are not absolute. A request may be limited where the law permits or requires continued processing, including for invoices, tax records, consumer rights, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, or the rights of another person. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity and locate the relevant records before acting.

Send a clear request to admin@rangeroverspecialist.ae or use the Contact page. State your name, the contact route used, the vehicle or job reference if relevant, the records concerned, and what you want corrected, accessed, restricted, or deleted. You may also raise a concern through the appropriate UAE authority where that route is available.

Children and minors

The website and workshop services are not directed to children. A person arranging vehicle work should have legal authority to do so. We do not knowingly request personal information from a child for marketing or profile-building. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authority, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where legally possible.

External websites and communications

Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, social platforms, official legal sources, or other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This policy covers our processing, not the independent processing performed by another organisation after you use its service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when site technology, workshop processes, providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published at this same URL with a revised last-updated date. Material changes should be presented clearly rather than hidden inside an outdated template.
